Better efficiency means lower power loss and less heat generation thus the LED driver can have a longer life and higher reliability with a better thermal situation.

 
 

Dimming performance. Using a lower-cost driver does not mean we have to sacrifice performance. Smooth dimming with either 0-10V or DALI or DMX control compatibility is important for stadium lights, especially the fast dimming response.

 
 

Find the right input voltage range for different countries.

Q: What is a non-isolated driver?

A: A non-isolated driver is a power supply that does not include safety isolation between its input and output. This design requires fewer components and simplifies the approach to achieving ultra-high efficiency.

Q: What is the difference between isolated and non isolated transmitters?

A: 'Isolated' refers to a circuit separated from the AC line in order to prevent electric shock. A 'non-isolated' circuit is one not shielded from the AC power source, making electrocution possible.

Q: Can LED driver be too powerful?

A: LED light output is proportional to its current supply, and LEDs are rated to operate within a certain current range. Therefore, too much or too little current can cause light output to vary or degrade more quickly due to higher temperatures within the LED, or thermal runaway.

Q: How to choose the correct LED driver?

A: Once, you know the wattage of the run of strip light you can then choose a suitable driver. The wattage of a driver indicates its maximum output capability. We recommend choosing a driver with a wattage capability at least 10% higher than the wattage the LED tape requires to ensure a longer lifespan.
